Microvellum Engineer / Millwork CAD Specialist

We deliver precision craftsmanship for high-end commercial, institutional, and retail interiors — from design to installation — out of a modern facility equipped with multi-axis CNC machinery and a dedicated finishing department.

Responsibilities

• Produce shop drawings and cut lists for architectural millwork and casework using Microvellum.
• Engineer custom products, edit and maintain the Microvellum library, and standardize construction methods.
• Generate CNC-ready output (G-code / CAM) for multi-axis routers and beam saws.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and the shop floor to release work packages on schedule.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications; flag conflicts and issue RFIs.
• Continuously improve engineering standards, part libraries, and reporting.

Requirements

• 2+ years hands-on Microvellum experience in a millwork or cabinet manufacturing environment.
• Strong AutoCAD skills; ability to read architectural drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of cabinet construction, hardware, materials, and finishing.
• Experience generating CNC output for nested-based manufacturing.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
