Project Manager — Millwork

About Us

Sandha Woodworks Service Ltd. is a fast-growing architectural millwork and cabinetry manufacturing company based in Brantford, Ontario. We deliver precision craftsmanship for high-end commercial, institutional, and retail interiors — from design to installation — out of a modern facility equipped with multi-axis CNC machinery and a dedicated finishing department.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate architectural millwork projects from contract award through final installation and closeout.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and shop tickets; issue RFIs and manage change orders with the general contractor and design team.
  • Build and maintain project schedules, material take-offs, and production release plans in coordination with engineering and the shop floor.
  • Source and manage suppliers and subcontractors (finishing, hardware, stone, glass, install crews).
  • Track project budgets, purchase orders, and cost-to-complete forecasts; report status to leadership weekly.
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate installation crews, deliveries, and site logistics.
  • Own client communication — meeting minutes, submittals, and closeout documentation.
  • Enforce quality, health, and safety standards on the shop floor and on site.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience in architectural millwork, casework, or high-end commercial interiors.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of AWMAC / AWI quality standards is an asset.
  • Comfortable with Microvellum, AutoCAD, or similar CAD/CAM output for planning.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and standard project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's licence — occasional travel to job sites in Ontario.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
