Sandha Woodworks Enters Multi-Year Preferred Manufacturer Agreement with National Contractor

Sandha Woodworks has entered a multi-year preferred manufacturer agreement with a national general contractor covering qualifying institutional and commercial interior projects.

The agreement's defining feature is timing. Under its terms, Sandha Woodworks is engaged during design development on qualifying projects to participate in BIM coordination, constructability review, blocking and backing coordination, and long-lead material planning — before the millwork scope is tendered.

The commercial value of a millwork manufacturer is highest in the weeks before the details are frozen, not in the weeks after the contract is signed.

Scope of the Agreement

  • Participation in interior BIM coordination and clash resolution on qualifying projects.
  • Constructability review of millwork details during design development.
  • Blocking and backing packages issued in advance of drywall closure.
  • Long-lead material identification and reservation aligned to the construction schedule.
  • Single-point project management from award through warranty on every awarded scope.

The agreement reflects a broader change in how millwork is procured on complex commercial interiors, where schedule certainty and coordination quality increasingly outweigh marginal differences in tendered unit price.
